4000-Years Old Temple On The Territory Of Peru

4000-years old temple has been found out by archaeologists during archaeological digs on the territory of modern Peru. Frescoes were even partially kept safe there. This temple became the most ancient of all already found on the territory Northern, Central and South America.

The temple is situated in the center of ruins; however the temple ladder leading to an altar is still kept save. According to the words of Walter Alva, the head of archaeological digs, the altar was used for sacrifices in this case.

The temple is located in the valley of Lambayek near to the ancient complex Sypan which has been found in the end of 1980th years. The new temple which has received the name of Ventarron according to the data the analysis is dated from approximately 2 000 year B.C.

The temple is located in approximately 900 kilometers from Lima, the capital of modern Peru.

Archaeologists mark, that the discovered structures and techniques by means of which they have been constructed, are the most ancient in territory of all America. The same is true with respect to temple frescoes.

Before this temple has been discovered in the valley of Lambayek they have found out a gilt burial place, the age of this place is estimated by archaeologists as 1 700 years old. There is a leader of one of the tribes that lived in the territory of Peru before the civilization of Incas.

Nowadays, according to scientists, the biggest part of the archaeological finds which are found out in territory of the South America, relates to the civilization of Incas which has existed up to first half of 16 century when the Spaniards have come to the South America. Archaeological finds of earlier period are real rarity.
